At Sailing Colibrí we are committed to responsible tourism by applying all the measures within our reach to cause the least possible impact on the ecosystem, not only in business, but also in our daily lives. One of our contributions is the reduction of the use of conventional engines (gasoline) since we sail 99% of the time under sail. As support, one of our boats has an electric motor and we plan to get a second electric motor for the other boat. In addition, we support the local economy by consuming products from farmers in the region and we take care of the division of garbage, composting and plastic reduction in each of our experiences. During the last 5 years we have won important state awards and applied in different calls that have distinguished us as a young innovative company. Among them: "State Award for Tourism Innovation and Diversification" awarded by the Quintana Roo Tourism Department.
